Description
This letter opener is handcrafted from Bocote (Cordia elaeagnoides). Bocote is native to Mexico and Central America and is known to symbolize mystery, confidence, creative power, and bold energy.

Care
When needed, clean with a commercially available furniture wax (any paste or aerosol wax will do).
While the wood used for this product is hard and resilient, avoid using the letter opener to pry things (such as staples) or open heavily taped packages. The blade tips are strong but could chip if used for such purposes.
Many woods darken or become richer in color as they age and oxidize. Enjoy watching your letter opener mature!
