Generations of Artistry

GW Exotic Wood Letter Openers & Jewelry is a father-daughter collaboration between Gene E. White and Christina Mosser, artisans based in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Together, they craft one-of-a-kind letter openers, earrings, and pendants that highlight the timeless beauty found only in nature. Every handcrafted piece is entirely unique and bears the natural imprint of the events that shaped it, giving it a distinct pattern, character, and voice.

Gene

Gene’s journey began at thirteen when he made his first handmade knife—a passion that endured through his 28 years as a U.S. Marine and continues today in his handcrafted letter openers and jewelry made from exquisite exotic woods.

Christina

Christina grew up beside her father in his workshop, later studying fine art and developing her love of sculptural, tactile design. Today, she handcrafts the sterling silver findings that finishes each piece of jewelry.
